Ya lotta people have told me to use duck tape and cardboard.  Don't know how good that would hold up at 90+ MPH on sand hy-way.   LMAO rofl kick

Kudo's to Bill at AZ transaxle.

Wow got my trans back via truck yesterday afternoon.  All I can say is Bill is the man of the hour.  Everything looks clean and neat.  He's so good he don't have to put all the parts back in.  rofl rofl Not really. Looks like it was time to go Thu it.  Had most of the issue's with reverse.  Look's like I need to use the clutch to put the car in reverse. ??? eyes ;D Buy looking at the little reverse gear you can tell that It's been a little used and abused. One two slider hub was cracked and the reverse fork was broke.  One piece of the fork went missing so I was lucky that it didn't do any more damage then it did.  Bill set me up with a new duel stage three clutch and pressure plate so I can put more of the subi horse power to ground now too.

On top of all that ! How many people now days takes care of the whole nine yards, shipping both ways rebuild PR and then just includes the invoice in the box and just lets you send a check. WOW thanks Bill.  Check's in the mail.  ;D :)

Can't say enough good about AZ Transaxle people. If you are ever in need of a transmission AZ is the place to go.

Bill has my box right now.  Also another friend's box out of his Baja.  Both of us had tranny's in pretty good shape.  He could have told us anything he wanted.  Zinged us off hard.  But instead he said tighten it up, clean it up and away we go........   He also saved my friend about $300.00 in new CV's by just running through them and ensuring only what needed to be replaced was.

He is the man.

Sounds GREAT!

You know the old story.  You only get one chance to impress some one.  Don's Bus Box missed that chance with DTS.

Air temperatures

OK all what do you think the air temperature would be of compressed turbo air?  Do you think that 180 degree air pushing threw and intercooler will cool it down?  Would 225* air cool the compressed air in the intercooler with a turbo pushing 15lb of boost.   The reason I ask is I am going to run a nine inch 740 CFM Spal fan on top of my intercooler.  Would it be better to face the Major opening of the shroud facings forward where it will pick up some of the radiators hot air or facing  rearward and drawing in a cooler abundant air temperature.  It just looks better facing forward.  What is the temperature of compressed air at say 15 LB's?  250* more or less.

You want as cool air as possible going through the  the intercooler fins. That's why almost all OEM intercoolers are at the very  front of the car.

Or use a water-to-air core and run the radiator up high in cool fresh air.

Not and option here.
