the may date might work but when it gets a little closer you'll have to check to make sure that's not a party weekend like sand fest or rattle snake or you won't enjoy the dunes. but I think it's right in between the bs so we'll see.

did you guys rent a house again? those date will pose a problem for some since the state lets people pre-pay 2 weeks in advance as long as they put a tent up in the state camp spots so all the state sights will be taken 2 weeks prior to sand fest. you guys are getting there friday and leaving wens so most will probably head down the tues before and leave the sat you guys are still there but with all the state sights taken and none the private have bathrooms that might no be possible for those with out fully equiped campers.

Yes we rented the house again. We are getting there the friday before and leaving the weds sandfest starts. I hope to see some earlybirds and some big sandcars. Just do not want to see them by surprise.

I was under the impression that Sandfest is the fall riding kickoff weekend? Mid September sometime? SnakeHunt is April 13,14,15 from what the forums say. Memorial weekend is the 26th so I think around these dates are good for me. (Quiet time  ;D ) I have a crew heading down 17-19, and Im pondering the idea of rolling down the 15-19..

I'm with you, open area and few people is way more enjoyable. Guees I got bad info. We will be there the dates posted. We are up to about 14-16 Revolts and RZR,s and some quads sprinkled in there somewhere. Both houses are rented and full now plus some in Dueces. Should be a great trip with that big of a group.

yeah. At least I will know who to keep my distance from and not have to wonder if the guy around me has a clue how to drive smart or sober.
