IMO I think you may stick jut as much money int buildng one of those as a Cuda. Do you have your own machining capabilities?

hey doug, I have access to welders, torches, plasma and maybe lathe ( not mine but i have limited access). The reason i asked about the other is 2 seats and i found a place with similar design as the one i asked about. They will send me all tubes cut, pre bent and notched with plans for 399 + shipping (single seat model). How much would a cuda chassis cost to do this with? Thanks again

Was not Team moto was it?
Your mission isn't to dive feet first into hell, but to make sure its crowded when you get there.

I must admit, the tubing cost already cut and bent is outstanding. Especialy if it is fishmouthed as well.

No matter your budget, plan to double it to be realistic!

There Is something missing in this equasion....
If I read right your looking to build a woods car...Woods cars and sand cars only have 2 things in common 4 tires and an engine... Woods cars have less travel as a rule of thumb, and alot less horsepower...Most woods cars are CVT drive where CVT sorta sux in the sand IMO...and Bike motors with shifting really sux in tight trails...IMO again...I've built both...Sled power with a CVT
A woods cage is built to withstand tree impacts and to keep brush out of the cockpit...where sand cars are more wide open and trying to keep the gross weight to a minimum...There are a couple of examples of What in my opinion are "good woods cars" here This one was my wifes...

This one was mine ... This one is still here if you want to take a short road trip to get a good look at it

I'd be happy to help you figure a chassis for a good woods car...
I understand you want a 2 seater...The 750 would easily be widened in the cockpit to accomodate 2 ;D

That is a very good point Spec. IMO the Piranha is a good all rounder as Ive done both riding styles in one. Only problem here though is the lack of 2-seat.
