Don't rush it. The dunes will still be there. Congrats on the work you have done.

I am not going to rush it but if I can put some long nights in and complete it I will. I got a bunch of stuff done last night and going to hit it hard tonight. I am happy with the way it is coming out so far.

I know you have it under control but ya know the old saying-haste makes waste................  Honestly ,I hope you get it done and are able to go have a good time,in time.
"There can be no divided allegiance here.  Any man who says he is an American,
but something else also, isn't an American at all.  We have room for but one
flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is
the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a
loyalty to the American people."

Made some progress this weekend. I started assembly and finished the trailing arms up with exception to a couple welds I want to dress up.

I hope so. begin to second thank the hp I'm after. 300 hp out of the 2.0 might be asking to much of it.

I think 300 is a bit much unless you cramk up the boost with race fuel or e85. I built a smaller beam car like yours for a friend that put 179hp to the tires out of a turbo subie and it was a rocket. I am sure you will be happy with the power.

I hope so, I had a Vw 2332, 5.5 h beam rods, Cb wedge mate heads. all potter valve train. 10-1cr. turboed and fuel injected. it ran dam good. never had it on the dyno, but CB specs the build at 250hp at the crank.. I'm sure there numbers are fudged some to the top side. if I get 260 to wheel I sure it will make me happy.
