Hey that's cool.  Brings back a lot of memories. I used to live on a lake and was really into Pike spearing. I had a wood shanty that I hauled out each year with the snowmobile. Until one morning I headed out to find it was gone. High winds with warm temps had taken it a half mile up the lake where it exploded on the north shore. I went portable after that.

Rick
Ya been there done that,
A buddy of mine had a 8 x 20 do the same thing....His hit an island, wasn't much left of it...On an up note it made a hell of a bonfire in the spring for the Ice out party ;D
We used to have a competition...Who was going to be the 1st to waterski in the spring...I remember skiing around some chunks of ice in the day. BBBRRRRRR the DUMB ASS SHIT  you do as a kid...
I like this one cuz it's got the fiberglass tub, so you can toss all the gear in it and still pull by hand (well I can't anymore)But I have gone for a couple of rides across the lake using ONLY WIND POWER ;D

I got a 1" masonary bit about 14" long.  Set the drill on hammer, be all the way down in 30 seconds.  Angle the hole toward the hut at the bottom, so if the hole melts out a bit the stake won't pop out.

Just Kansas Common Sense........  Just like the sense to leave them dad's in the creek........  :P :P :P
