I didn't find his as hard to read as some of the damn short text hand stuff.  Guess i'm getting old.

I would agree with DS, you can only throw so much money at something.  If you make one part bigger, better, faster, you'll have to continue doing so to make it somewhat reliable.  But what the hell, this hobby seems to be all about how much money you can dump into something.
You can keep your CHANGE, I'd like to keep my DOLLAR.

Is this a 250 Odyssey or a 350? A 350 is .065 welded seam round tube. There are already spots in the frame where two halves were brought together and welded. There is a sleeve inside and rosette welds.

I think that would take major changes.  Not that it couldn't be done.

The rear of the Cuda is built around a chain drive system for a bike motor.  If you used a v-tec with a CVT to a RPM box it may not have to be stretched to much, however the offset (to the right side) of the motor with that setup would be detrimental in a single seater IMO.  Not only that but you would be basically starting over with all structural design of the rear of the car.

I'm going to put my 2 cents in on this. IMO you would be best advised to look into a Rorty plan set. Look here
http://www.rorty-design.com/content/rorty_design_home.htm
Even though that old SOB hates me( the feeling IS mutual) and has his lips firmly planted on MBN's ass ,I think his plans are the most complete and accurate out there. Pick one out,lay out the cash for the plans and save yourself a shitload of trouble and frustration, not to mention money. You will also be assured of a car/buggy that is safe and capable.

flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is
the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a
loyalty to the American people."

Did your plans show a inline 4 automotive motor option or do the plans not go that far?  I saw one the other day that had an Ecotec in it so I am confident it is workable.  I just didn't know if any of the plans addressed the powerplant location / size.

I thought a little more about the V-tec in a Cuda and the offset weight might not be that bad.  Probably wouldn't be much worse than a two seater with only a driver on board.

The engine bay in an r16 is plenty big. The plans do not address any specific engine combo tho.

The plans get a person to the point of having a well designed, for the most part, rolling chassis.
