On a side note, since Dart isn't seeing fit to get me a block anytime soon,I will be picking up a second hand SB2.2 Dart Iron Eagle with .927 keyway lifters next week just like I have but a lot more inches. Things are rare as hen's teeth.   Getting a second SB2.2 top end as well from Joe Gibbs Racing. Should be power makers since they are from his last year running the SB2.2 around 2005.  I should get in the neighborhood of 900 at the crank easily and hopefully 700 at the wheel with those heads and 437 inches. Based on the 360 incher I have now that should be doable. This will be a bigger brother clone of the 360. Fun times ahead in October!

now that sounds like a blast! that rail runs damn good now!

so if you have to swap the trans are you going sequential? fully building your suby for 400 hp?  :D
.       If I go with a bigger transmission might as well build a 500 horse motor. I did get a call from trans works, they said they can build me one we’ll see.  Glad you got yours all fixed up Dave!

i like where you minds at  ;D

LOOKS LIKE REPAIRS ARE COMING RIGHT ALONG.

hbig dave.....did you get your parts ordered plus extras??
new bearings and seals in the car and trailer. ready to ride.

didn't know the trailer needed them! good to hear you got it all wrapped up with spares. who would've thought those parts don't exist at the dunes anymore.

I got to take my grandson and his buddy to the dunes last week, they had a blast and wore themselves out.  I had to rent a "Gayzor" to ride with them, that was a real let down.  No where near as stable feeling as my buggy.  Thought I was going to roll it more than once.  They did get a ride in a nice V8 buggy, they are really hooked now!  I lead for the first half hour, showed them the layout of the dunes, then had them lead back to camp from the South end.  No problem :s

New blood!!!! Great to see it.
