I've had pretty good luck with the ones I have bought. The only problem I've had was with RF noise from a set that were mounted on the roof of a truck. They put out enough noise that the radio thought someone was keyed up..........

I just put a PIAA conversion kit on my Yahama Grizz and love em.  The cheap set I got off Ebay for the Grizz was a piece of shit and didn't last a month so be carefull.

I also have 4 converted Fuego's that I got from KBROWNCUSTOMS.com for my buggy build.  I have lit them up just using a battery and they seem to work great.  Will not know about the dependability untill I get them mounted, but others seem to like them.
You smell that?
