Those are Mendeola transmissions.
"There can be no divided allegiance here.  Any man who says he is an American,
but something else also, isn't an American at all.  We have room for but one
flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is
the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a
loyalty to the American people."

Had I known when I bought it what I know now I would have bought a PBS trans.  Can't use reverse in the 2d for much or it breaks.  It is supposed to be good to 450 HP and I am running 400.
You smell that?

From what I've been told about the 2D if you get NASTY with it, with more than 350 HP,350 ft/LBS of torque it WILL BREAK!

I have a couple of friends out in CA that run 450/400 and have had no problems so I hope I get the same results.  If I break it I will be looking at the PBS for sure.

OK new question:  What is the best way to finish prep the surface of the alum panels to prepare for paint or powder?

For PC there no special prep that I know of other than maybe a light sanding and a wipe down before coating. For PAINT I'd suggest you follow the paint manufacturers directions. Follow them to the smallest of details.Do NOT vary or failure WILL follow.

Depends on the PC. If it's a transluscent that,IMO, is way too coarse. Opaque colors probably good to go tho. I'd ask my PC man what he wants. After all,it's gonna be HIS reputation on the line.

Depends on how you drive. I've seen a couple blown up with stock Ecotecs. Medi's aren't all that, the 2D is pretty much a bus trans with a shitty case. There is a reason there are 2 other company's making replacement cases for them. When they switched from the stateside vendor to the south of the border casting house, things like quality went in the shiter.

Get them chem-filmed. Really helps with adhesion.........

The 2D trans uses O91 gears in them too. 8) 8) 8)
