I called two places today.  One did not have both sizes in stock.  They only had 1" DOM .095 @ $2.45 a foot.   The second place I called.    They had both sizes in stock and was the cheapest I have found yet.  1 1/4" DOM .095 @ $1.82 a foot  ($1.69 if I bought 5 lenths) and 1" DOM .095 @ $1.22 a foot ($1.13 if bought 5 lenths)   Each lenth is 18 foot.

I think we all need to take a ride to PA and buy up all their steel. ;D Hey does Bugpac have a job yet maybe he can take a road trip. ;)

Fastenal is a no go, can't get my sizes.

I have also checked out some places online like speedy metals, they are cheaper but after shipping and and the short lengths (= more waste) I am better off buying local.

No offense OZ guys but at your prices, even with the exchange rate your still 2-3 times more. :P

Hey cleppla I did a search on Dillsburg Aeroplane Works, no web site but a lot of positive feed back on other forums.

Same here. I have found tons of positive remarks about them.

Here is a little story of the company and how they use chicken sheds.
