If simple is what you want then the way Rick suggested is the best way. The single A-arm is the easiest front suspention I have ever built and it works well. IMO you will eventually sell it and build another like many of us do.

You can source parts here in the US. contact myself when your ready. I do believe Rick sells his front kit. I know of some guys using it already and agree it is a huge improvment! The shocks you will need are already built into the design Rick has made. I believe they are 5.5" travel FOX Airs.

I agree totally!

BUT Russell's Design Parameters were to use edge shocks, that's why he did it that way. Edge shocks, mounted outboard, are WAY too hard.
The implication he didn't understand what he was doing is emphatically wrong.

Another consideration other than complexity with using quad parts is the strength, quad parts are not "buggy" strength. Even some (lots) automotive stuff is not "buggy strength".
Yeah. That would suck! Having a axle snap racing at 40mph. over some woops. not good :o

Your talking the single Arm designed with spindles and the fancy billet hubs I made? Yeah I got that stuff. Let me know if your intrested. That set up uses the Willwood PS1 calipers.
