So, figured a while back that car and toyhauler is no good for me. Offed the hauler, got an enclosed, then did the hotel thing. Miss the experiences of camping. Enclosed with car came it at 7k pounds. Ouch for class "C."
So, offing the enclosed and going to try class "C" with open deck flat bed. That will save tire shuffle as I had to change all four on the current car and strap the front. So with weight in mind, found a 16' 102 deckover aluminum with fuel station. (Funco not included.)
First leg of new journey / adventure is complete..... Now to find class "C." Off to Tucson today to do just that. Buyer's market.

Nice deck over Yum. That all steel painted silver or is it all Ally? That will save Lot's of time and pulled back's not having to lift the jack for an hour.
-
Those little boat trailer wheels make for a very nice low deck!!!!! I'm betting it's all ally.
-
Shitloads of those trailers in sled (snowmobile) country.

Well, joined the class "A" crowd. Figure it is like buggy. Start older smaller, figure what you like, dont, etc. then work your way up from there.
94, 200 hours on gen set, 80k miles. Recent / newish tires. $9,5k
We will see.

nice buy.you'll like it!

Hope so. Has back up camera, leveling jacks, etc. Just want to get our feet wet before dumping too much money into one. Should be good for what we do. Basic requirements were as follows:
Sleep
Poop
Coffee
Everything else is just a bonus. Need to have the exterior buffed, etc as at the end of 20 it is a bit faded, etc. Insdie is nice. Also need to hook up seven pin. Rest is good to go.

Well then ,you are ready for a real road trip.................................say to Okla in the spring.............................

Nice find Yummi. What happend to the C class you were talking about? That should work just fine for eat sleep and poop. Polish don't make it hold any more poop or make the food taste any better. And you won't get any glare off it to keep you awake. See you in a few weeks.

The C was nice but dude was total flake / retard / sketcher. Mrs. thought it was stolen. This was $500 more and is just as nice, a bit older, but just as nice. More room.

Funny you should mention that. Picked it up yesterday. Everything works just fine. Although the fan when it cycles on is a rude awaking. Guess being a couple of feet from it, and the betterment of sound deadening material in the last twenty years has a part to play in that?
But like anything that is used and mechanical it has a list of redos just for the baseline. Sort of like sorting a new sand car. Will do them in order, but after driving the pregnant whale home I am thinking shocks are at the top of the list. I am down with whale. But wowsers need to get rid of the pregnant part.
Did not help we had gusting cross winds yesterday.
Also need to upgrade the radio - I threw out my cassette tapes long long ago.

LOL!! Upgades. I know what you mean. That's what I've been doing the last few weeks to the toter.

Air bags - they are my friends. It has them. Don't know if they work, cracked, etc, but we got em. Will explore and figure it all out. Should solve the problem.
