What do you have for a powerplant in that golf cart? :) :) :)
-
The dune pics had a Ninja 500 motor and the factory FNR. It puked a bearing in the FNR on saturday that weekend so out it came and got fixed. Worried it would be too weak so as the '01 GSXR600 motor went in, so did a Honda FWD trans. Should do very well once done!
The other is yet to be driven...RC51 with the same trans. 18" travel with King airs. Started out as a yamaha golf cart and now only the gas pedal remains!

Have any pics of the golfcart motor swap?
-
I'll post some up as soon as I get a few minutes with the camera. Gotta update my build/problem thread anyway.

Nice car dune! I'm considering building something similar someday, but more focused on high desert terrain vs. dune. Did you design and build the chassis? Do you have a build thread? Thanks!
My kids are getting older and I'm eventually going to need another seat. I've kicked the idea of buying a rzr around, but for $20K + my imagination goes a little crazy with the possibilities on what could be built, be it an all purpose 4x4 or another rail.
