Title: Suspension Science
Post by: fastcorvairs on February 19, 2009, 07:43:08 AM
OK Let's start this thread with a bang. Bug you mite want to move this to the (KPI thread) I don't know.

Here it is. In the March/April 2001 Sand Sports mag there is and article by Doug Dixon and Michael Sommer on The straight scoop on long-travel suspensions.  I am attaching a scanned copy in Adobe reader.  Just click on it and print it out.  I used this article like a bible when I built my suspension and it all worked out like a dream.
They clear up allot of the terminology that allot of people don't understand.
Six pages long and allot of good pictures.

Hey, Doug is a friend of mine - great guy - nicer guy you will not meet.  He helps me with the car.  He is active on GD boards as "KingGlamis."
