I saw the same vid. I have that same crappy bender that always kinks tubing. But yes when you pack the tubing full of wet sand and cap the ends, it will bend quite well. Back like 8 or 9 years ago I used the same bender to build tubed back halves on fou linked trucks. That's how I figured out the sand thing. Bottom line- Messy but it works. ;)
