Seem as though D&S is having a hard time getting personal PM's and e-mails form me.  So I'll just post it up here.  He wanted to know about the Rack Snuggys that I built up.  so here are the Pict's again.

DS told me the other night you had improved those racks and he wasn't kidding!  :o :o :o Damn nice work Fast. Pm me a price for one of those kits if you want to sell any.

fast I tip my hat to you on this one! this is exactly what these knock off racks need!!!!!!!  just so everyone knows I am not going off of pics I actually talked to the designer/builder personally!  ;D

Im interested as well. The 2 seater will use this rack and I have one on stand by that could use this mod.

  The standard rack only has a .250 inch peace of Alli on top for a cover.  the rack wears a slot in the Alli and every thing gets lose. The Rack Snuggy has a insert inside that rides over the steel rack that is industrial Teflon with a Alli backing plate.  Old is on the left and new on the right.  The Snuggy has four set screws on top to keep a constant down force on the Teflon against the rack thus keeping 90% of of the slack out of the rack as it wears.  You do have to manually adjust it.  The Teflon even with some grease on it is very slick and dose not hinder steering resistance much.
