I should add that the front sand tires with ribs I have are offset a good 1.5 inch plus from stock Yamaha.
Your mission isn't to dive feet first into hell, but to make sure its crowded when you get there.

What kind of effect does that have on handling? I know the wider track will make it more stable in fast turns, but what about the scrub radius? Won't somebody please think of the scrub radius?!?

I AGREE WITH CHRIS!  drowning  rofl

I had a banshee with some serious offset and it would rip the bars right out of your hands and otherwise put a serious hurting on you if you caught a root or bank or just a rut wrong.

Oh yeah... Whats "janke"???

Janke - Half assed , cheap quality, afro-engineered, Does that clear it up? Kind of a broad term we use around here in industrial maintenance.

If anyone cares, I've messed with a wide variety of offsets and spacers on buggies and quads. The end result is usually more harmful than beneficial as the extra width past the SAI line creates a lot of stress on front suspension components, not to mention the extra steering effort and increased feedback.

Well said.
"There can be no divided allegiance here.  Any man who says he is an American,
but something else also, isn't an American at all.  We have room for but one
flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is
the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a
loyalty to the American people."
Theodore Roosevelt 1907
