Naw my temper got me tossed, The money  that the champion ship that was lost was not as much as the damage to my car/engine...But thats why I'm alittle against it...I nave never seen a welded rear end hold up for long... I have done it myself...100-18 hot stick...When in hi school... And with cast rod in college...Playing in the mud 44'' ground hawgs and welded carriers, somethings got to give and the added heat stress on the carrier never allows them to hold up for long...altho I know a guy that runs the derby's around here I did one for him a couple of years ago, he had some old cast rod that was junk, I cut the cast rod into lengths, set it in between the spider teeth, warmed it up to 400* (temple stick) and burned the living shit out of it with DT 7100...I think that held...I'm sure he'd be here pissing and moaning had it not...But then again...Derby trucks don't get alot of traction
