no cooling section??

can someone recommend the right oil cooler for me? i have no idea where to start or what can be used.  its for my gsxf 600 suzuki engine. thanks a ton

I can't specifically but I will caution against going too large.Too large and your oil will be too cool to properly do its' job. Oil should be kept at the recommended operating temperature.

Man, i have to disagree, these motor with the water based cooler really run high oil temps...

What is normal operating temp, these 600 motors are seeing 60-70 degree higher oil temps than water temps, so a air cooled motor with a oil cooler only, i cant imagine the oil temps are gonna be anywere close to ideal...

Hey I can try to think, but, it is still my first cup of coffee.  Why would the guys with the paycheck who design these things not make them right - yea, I get room for improvement over "stock" but really, they have to be "within range" from the factory?  Viscosity can be adjusted by oil to compensate for temp flucuations.  do I get a blue ribbon, or just more coffee?

in the real world, a bike motor is stuck up front with no seat in front of it, it runs mostly decent speeds and the motor isnt lugged from excessive weight, IMO there is no comparision to keeping it close to stock...

so no real advice about an oil cooler.. what about a tranny cooler from a car?
