I know nothing about it specifically but I like the design . Very similar to mine. JD2 has a good reputation.
"There can be no divided allegiance here.  Any man who says he is an American,
but something else also, isn't an American at all.  We have room for but one
flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is
the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a
loyalty to the American people."
Theodore Roosevelt 1907

I have a 48"x6" belt sander in the shop. I put 60 grit belts on it that are not very expensive bought in bulk. They last a while too as long as you don't try to hold things going against the direction of the belts. Finger tips and finger nails last longer that way too. What I was thinking is to make another one with various size idler rollers and a vice setup to bring the tube into it. It would hog out the notch faster than a hole saw. The belt has an advantage over drums in surface area. The belt will not overheat so easy. The surface area to cost ratio is better too. More life for the cost.

I have the low buck notcher on my bending stand with an air cylender on it
Quite fast and easy...I've been singing it's praises for years but nobody listened For a 90* joint...15 seconds and a perfect fit

bought one myself when I started years ago and still on the same die with same 4' handle. fwiw and I'm sure you know but if you hold down on the first cut and up and the second down, it comes out 10* for the most part then dress with a flapper.  I love that notcher but I still have a hole saw notcher in a stand up drill press set on it's lowest speed.

A $4000 notcher that does 16 second 90 degree notches in Aluminum tubing rofl

I'm sure it's a good notcher, and for that kind of money it better be.

While nice Wyatt, you went over budget and are disqualified.  ;D

Similar bit in a lathe, mill, or drill press, same results.

On the ones using hole saw bits, are you guys using in drill press or just hand drill?
You can keep your CHANGE, I'd like to keep my DOLLAR.
