Woopi dry air.

Sure is nice not to have to bleed the water out of the air lines before you use them.  Got my new compressor and drier on line.  Hooked it in tandem with the old compressor so anything goes south I will have at least one unit to take over.  Have the new 7.5 screw hooked up to where it is the primary.  Will duct the heat off this new one into the shop for heat in the winter time.  The big yellow tank in the back ground is a 180 gal reserve tank that was once a oxygen tank for the cockpit of a 747 airplane. That give me a 80 gal tank with a 60 gal tank in tandem with the 180 gal tank.  Any one one to convert that into Cubic feet go right ahead.  rofl

If I believe I cannot do something it makes me incapable of doing it. But when I believe that I can, then I acquire the ability to do it , even if I didn't have it at the beginning.

Always have two or three guys running docto's and air grinders. Then you have me out the buggy shop blowing sand out of the buggy seat.  Takes a lot of air some times and the more volume you have the better off you are.  Compressors don't pop on and off so many times. Two cnc machine's take allot of air to.  I have and air buffer that I us to polish things to. That thing is a air hog for sure.

Depending on the machines, running low on air can really jack up a CNC. Nothing like getting a low air alarm in the middle of a tool change. Some machines are a real biatch to recover. We've been running into that problem a lot lately as the 30HP main unit is down for a new cylinder and the 10HP back up is running almost non-stop all day long. It won't be long before it needs some parts..........
