I have Gzero by Rapid Output.  It probably costs about the same as Gibbs.

Actually the training issue is very important.  If you know someone that has been using what you are getting, it would be very helpful to be able to ask for tricks when you get stuck.  If their year of maintenance and training will cover that then cool.

The problem is you have to spend quite a bit of time to learn your system initially, and figure out the quirks.  If you are only going to make a dozen parts over the first few months, I think that it is to much to spend.

I completely agree and Midwest CAM solutions is the reseller.THe owner Rick says that beyond the Gibbs promises that if I have any trouble he will walk me through any issues at any time I need help into the future. AS often as needed. His theory is that he wants to give me the "tools" to figure it out instead of just doing it for me. I like that approach myself. If I know how and WHY something works I will be better off in the long run.
Once setup I believe I'll be running a lot more than that. I do see your point tho and agree.

Big Dog(Jay Leno) people pretty much mirror what you just said engineer. Just a coincidence but they are also using a 4020 Fadal. Doesn't mean a thing but they like the Gibbs and only use it once or twice a month. Of course they say that they would be more profecient if using it everyday. They say it is more than they need BUT they can do WHATEVER they need when needed. That's what I want.
