Hi SharonfOugh,

Tell us a bit about yourself?

Any cool projects on tap?  Prior experience?

Do you have the winning lotto numbers?

well l like the double wishbone suspension set up,  not big travel but probably enough for what I want,
they are easy to bolt into a frame   and they are so cheap over here due to them suffering from rust issues to the body shell, no one wants to weld them up or they arnt worth doing   you can buy one for a couple hunded pounds/dollars  and there are turbo and supercharged versions to be had,

I went with a base layer of 2"x2" box section

There is no doubt that the sxs market is maturing into some very capable machines. Capable yes but durable? Nope. The OEM's are betting on a LOT of parts sales. For almost no extra cost the sxs's could be made very durable but that is not in the interest of the OEM's that make a LOT of money on repairs.

didn't figure you would change just found it interesting.  i agree lol they make a lot of claims that very few question!  i do like the idea of an auto with paddle shift for the manual feel, that's a nice touch.

Don't know anything about them but since we have 4 yxz's I doubt I will  either.  :m  Pretty amusing how they seem to think they are the innovator of a real trans in a sxs though.

I thought so too when I first saw them,  if you don't learn something new every day then you haven't been listening I was told many moons ago

Damon the guy building with the mx5 axles is well ahead of me

seems they use mx5 running gear for all sort of things

all the info i see about it which isn't much at all lol

Building a transmission without a belt in today’s market is a step out from the pack, and Honda’s DCT, or Dual Clutch Transmission, has proven itself in many Ride Red machines. This fully automatic six-speed transmission provides twin shifting modes in Normal as well as Sport for those who love to be in control. This all-gear transmission also provides engine-braking for steeper trails.
