Who makes the absolutely best shifter for an 091?

if you ask me all the mid engine shifters suck to some degree...

looks like type 1 only - but they may have other stuff - worth looking into / email see what else they have? - 1500.00 is the only number I have seen - from a reseller - they might be better direct - don't know what is included in that cost.  - I also added a 2nd link above for just the shifters - no trans work mods.

type 1 and bus have the same out put shaft, just different heights, all you need is a stock vw shifter and raise it up to align with the shaft..

How do you plan to clutch this thing, Use the bike clutch and the trans shifter?

Its not for a 091 because there is a dramatic height difference between them, the shift pattern is the same...

Jene Berg makes the best VW shifter, however a Bugpac will work just as well and at a 4th of the cost.
