I have a problem. Can you help figure it out?

Wow Dune looks like you mite need a skid plate there. It's a wonder you diden't spin a main bgr.

5 years ago that was a little oversite when building the car. Skid plate is now in the works as we speak. It covers from the front of the trans to the very back of the car. 1/8 inch steel with 1 1/2 inch angle iron cross bracing. We had it in place and you can jack the car up with it no problem just need to weld in tabs to mount it. We went a tad over kill on the new skid plate. New motor is in (3.8 Buick GM). Working on headers, fuel lines, throttle cable and computer wiring then should be ready for a test beat. Also putting my old heavier springs on the rear coilovers. Was bottoming out last trip and this motor is 60 ish pounds heavier.

Is there a crankshaft in the engine?? How the hell did it clear the pan after that? LOL!!!!

Pressure dropped to 10 psi at idle and 15 psi at 5000 rpm. Drove it like that for 2 days. It still runs, tough little bitch. I had softer springs in the back so they have to go and back to the old ones plus more pressure in the shocks and one hell of a skid plate pictures to come.  And yes I was driving like a spider monkey! The damage was not from wheelies, pretty sure I know where I did it, tree stump in the sand.

That brings up something to look out for. Steel fence posts sticking out of the sand near/at the perimeter of LS. Be very aware that they can appear overnite in the right wind and be gone next day. They are DANGEROUS if you aren't aware of their being there. PLEASE!! be careful ESPECIALLY along the northeast area.

 the caved in section of the oil pan literally looks like it was pressed in for a driveshaft to run through like the floor of a rear wheel drive car! yes I have seen it in person, it's in my shop.

Going to put mufflers on this time around. Sorry master you are going to  sleep through the 2 2am visits for sure now. God waiting for parts it painful!

Pictures don't do that 3.1 V6 oil pan any justice, it's worse in person than the pics look. I don't know how in the hell the throws on the crankshaft weren't hitting that pan. FUBAR is an understatement.
