Maybe so but I provide a life for my kids. Might be a week early but know what? They always thought it was kind of special to get to celebrate early. Gramdma/Grandpa-aunt/uncles don't like it? Too bad. Wife thinks it HAS to be on the CORRECT day? Everyone needs to understand that the CHILD is what is important for sure . I understand that.  Everyone also needs to understand that a smalll child doesn't care if it is celebrated early. Hell a teenager doesn't care. They only care that it happens. Soooo,take care of the child AND your OWN life. Neither needs to miss out on any of it.

Candice, my 10yr old said April LS trip was the "best time ever".  Just bring a car seat for the 2yr old and we'll throw a B-day party.  You are only a kid once and they grow too fast.

If not eat some extra ice cream for me, and

The reason it is so important to me, to celebrate my daughter's b-day on her actual b-day, is because I don't have very many b-days or holidays that can be with her on the actual day. :'( :'( :'(  I make my living out on the road and the only time I have with her is on the weekends. The last couple of years with her, I have learned that it's the little things that count. All you guys are so right, they grow up way to fast!!!

I'll start bringing her down when she's 4. I don't think her body can take all the bouncing around out on the sand dunes yet. And I don't want to have to  ask anyone to watch her so I can go out and play neither.
