Fabr...what is SAW? Looks pretty simple to me, I know yours is the cat's ass (seriously, nice work!)...maybe for us poor folk?
You can spent the money up front and do it right or spend half of money, have it break and end up spending more than if you would've done it right the first time.
The OEM bellhousing only use a steel collar to hold the input shaft seal. The real support came from the pilot bearing in the end of the crank shaft.
I can agree with a lot of that but it still should not keep people from trying new things that can be done for a lesser price and cheaper at times.Are some gonna break and fail? YUP. But some will survive and break new ground. A little care and common sense with a build can make a lot of things work well.
