Yes I have made arms with uniball inners. They work just fine. Weld some spacers on your mounts to take up the extra width. I would get the arms made, bolted in and aligned before you make the spacers though.
I have also had to do some really bad things to bushings to line up a poorly made buggy.

What size uniball did you use?

giggity Sorry had to try Enemy's smiley

I like these, thread into the bung like heim.  But should take more of a beating, plenty of angle, plus adjustment in/out with threads.

For the Tazcar, we used 3/4". the bigger they are, the longer they last. For a car your size, I would lean towards 1" for longevity.

Do not use a hiem on the inner. The compression forces to bad things to the threads. Also add's more weight/cost and is unnecessary........

I was looking at the 1" uniballs with 3/4" misalignments and could do weld washers on my old mounts to reduce the holes from 7/8" to 3/4".

I picked up some King bypasses and an intercom with headsets at the off road swap meet this weekend. As if I did not have enough to do before my first trip!

Nice score on the shocks!  When you said the project was snowballing, you weren't kidding.  That will be a nice ride when you are done.

Mocked up the front shocks last night and it should be an easy install. Just need to add tabs to the outside of each shock for double sheer. and box them in.

I don't know how this happened but definitely the worst snowball ever. A $350 intercooler has turned in to $10k plus in upgrades. Now the wife wants all new tin work done and graphics. That probably will not happen till next season but we will see. I got all 4 brand new bypasses for $1850 so scored on them for sure, And saved $185 on the intercom buying on sale at the swap meet from Rugged.

Got some more stuff done this weekend. I got the radiator mounted, rear seat brackets made and tubes in to mount the rear seats, added new engine cage bracing, and removed wiring, old tabs, and misc stuff no longer needed.
