Title: EZ Tach +
Post by: Boostinjdm on May 11, 2011, 11:18:22 PM
Finally got me one.  Works on just about any engine with a spark plug.  Shipped to my door for just shy of $50.  Tried it out on everything I own only to find that I didn't need it.  Idle and governed speed was already correct after setting by ear. eyes

I would recommend it to anyone working with engines.  Even has a built in flashlight and back lit display.

LOL!!!! I meant ,being wireless also, what triggers the wireless operation. Is it optical or magnetic or proximity or......................................only works on something with a spark plug? What about a drill press?

Get it within an inch or so and it senses the spark in the wire.  The wire with the alligator clip can be used on tough to get to plug wires.

You know that noise from an AM radio?  I think somebody figured out how to exploit a nuisance and make a buck from it.  Elctro Pulse?

Why would a drill press have spark plugs?   That is some wicked drill press.
