Did you ever purchase the spacers from me that have an offset to help with clearance issues between the shock ad upper A-arm? I thought you have. These go on the bottom A-arm.

I use the spacers up top that come with the FOX shocks.

Did I? I don't remember! But aren't those bits for the A-arms? To help with the turning problems!

I honestly thought those bit were for the A-arms and had to be welded in, do they?

Yes the 10* offset bungs get welded in to help with steering.

Im talking about spacers though. I think I sent those to another customer in Aus. I have sold a bunch of them so its hard to keep track.

Nah I went out and had a look and found em and straight away I had a look at the spacers on the tie rod end, and noticed it had marks where it had been pinched when I tried to turn the steering wheel with no weight on the thing! :o

Yeah true but it gets a bit old at times, I do to me self though, like the mounts for the wing, I don't know why I done it either I just got em and thought ah I'll cut some box section in half and weld it to the mount, I did that sat back admired the weld cause it looked sooo good then it hit me now how do I mount it to the roll bar? ??? Then I came up with what you see now... I'm just not thinking it through.. ::)

You'll learn soon enough, that's why my projects take so long.  I do my best to think stuff through and still end up redoing.

Happens to me all the time but not as often as it used to.  I like the wing on there.

Thanks Master, I saw another one running around with one and thought it looked cool so I hunted around and found one, mounting it, well that was some fun and games.. ::) What do you think would be a better way of attaching the wing?

Get rid of the angle brackets on the stanchions and the square tube halves. Weld on 4 tabs to your roll cage in appropriate locations to line up with the stanchion mounts bolt holes removing a need for the angle mounts. Bolt the wing stanchions directly to the tabs. Will look much neater and uncluttered for a nice simple mount that's not all bunched up.
