I didn't see any big holes burned in it so it's better than I could do on aluminum.
Reidy02What size filler wire are you using? Can you burn back over the weld and flatten it out any. May set your machine on pulse and run back over all the welds. Use a circular motion with your torch and make it look better. The weld would be wider but flatter.
Thanks Fast, but I had a bit of a stuff up with the flange for the cap, when I welded it, the lip I left to weld to actually pulled/cracked and pulled away from the internal edge, soooo I'll hafta spin another one up and I want to change the tank more so I'll chalk it up to experince I guess! It's hard being a fussy prick when ya sometimes find ya talents lacking.. :-\ At least I'm trying! huh
