Ah, the old school rails. Fun as hell and with the vw they're cheap and easy to work on. We've restored 20-some manx style buggies over the years.

Looks like you were tearin it up there - good times  :)

That diff-trany looks good, are both axles in the car the same length? Do you have a estimate on the overall weight of that with the engine attached?

I use to be a dealer for Berrien buggies when I lived up in Wyoming during the late 70's, I built a bunch of pinto powered sandrails then. We use to go to the dunes up there alot.
I was surprised to see they are still selling chassis. Cool ;D

 They sell so many, they dont have time or manpower to produce a mini chassis, Is what they told me...
