All that may be true but the failure pic was due to someones foot riding the clutch. Classic failure, classic cause.

flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is
the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a
loyalty to the American people."

I think the others and I are are thinking automatic tranny Fabr as in 2005 I do not think Dodge even offered manual trans in the mini vans??  I believe a few of the first ones had manuals. But they went away long ago

Unless you know other wise?

Wyatt. Next time at the shop see if manual trans or auto?
Your mission isn't to dive feet first into hell, but to make sure its crowded when you get there.

Ya,you may well be correct. I didn't catch the minivan part.

The thrust surface is the only wiped out area from what I see in the pic. The bearing face is reasonably good? That would still normally indicate a constant thrust issue. Or ,as mentioned earlier, a possible crappy thrust face on the crank. More/better pics!!!!  ;D ;D ;D ;D

They sell a kit to fix them, but he ordered a new thrust bearing and they send you the normal thrust setup, not 1 normal half and 1 thrust half. The main cap assembly is machined properly to accept the lower half of the thrust bearing, and the new thrust bearings fit great. However the crank is all chewed to shit where the thrust bearing should ride so it's Screwed.
