Lexan can be bought with a hard scratch resistant coating just like top quality glasses but it will still scratch but not easily and can't be bent or formed like regular lexan since the coating will crack.

We used to get the lexan winsheids for the asphault left handers from a place called unlimited lexan they were scratch resistant and if you warmed the up with a heat gun carefully they could be shaped to fit really nice, they sell pre shaped ones as well..

I should have said no SHARP bends with the mar resistant coating.

do you need a curved window?  if it is flat than use laminated glass. you can get laminated glass in clear, solar ( green tint ), bronze, smoked ( like a tinted window ) and with a shade band at the top just like a car or truck. laminated glass is the same glass your windshield is made out of, in your car or truck. I have made many windows ( out of lami ) for street rods and heavy equipment in the last 15 years. most auto glass shops can make the window but all glass shops that do store front glass can.

No it will be flat. It seems that glass would be much harder to mount than lexan. I was just going to tab the windshield and drill holes in the lexan with rubber grommets.

ya you couldn't do that with glass, you would have to weld in a pinchweld and use rubber gasket preferably catapiler gasket.
