Title: vivid grafix
Post by: dsrace on April 20, 2011, 04:50:01 PM
I recently purchased some vinyl grafix off e-bay from vivid mobile to add to my rail. what I bought is real cheap quality vinyl but i didn't real all the ad I guess or i would have known it. I have spoke with the owner and told him if he sells to any sand rail guys that the cheap stuff is not going to fly! well what i got came w/o a clear overlay protective layer but once enemy cleared over that with automotive clear coat they actually look better than with the overlay so that worked out great! the cheaper vinyl has some flaws in it where the higher quality doesn't but there is a price difference. what I bought was $140 and enough to do all but my hood which ran another $40. if I had it to do over i would defiantly pop for the better quality. his designs are great imo and he has quite a few to choose from, better than most I have seen. with the clear over them they really pop out even though the poorly lit pic I'll post doesn't show it. when I get a chance out in the sun I'll take better ones. here is before and after

that wasn't my testimonial cause I hadn't written one yet, but i have now. I hope he gets some pics of his other design up for all to see. there were 2 others I reallly like and it was hard to choose. now if he could scale down to fit our exact panels and fit the entire pic in that size they would look a whole lot better. I did not do that with mine cause I wanted the cut off for the remainder of panels.

So you're saying that he makes good vinyl but he's a bit shady. He SAYS that was your testimonial.

well he don't make the vinyl but some good graphics and he put that there till I wrote one up, so shady... I don't know yet but he hasn't been to me anyway. what I have purchased has been as stated BUT we'll have to keep our eye on him if any members give him a try!!  ;D

I damn sure can't bitch for $140. plus enemy's time to clear coat.

Still waiting on a quote from him.  But he's gonna have a tough time beating a local instaled price with the clear
