the fans pull around 4.66 to 4.98 amps at 12.3 volts directly connected to the battery so some where around 57.3 watts a little shy of the 80W on the sticker.  the two together pulled 9.98 amps or 122.75 Watts.

Here are the additional supports I added to the rear.  I figured taking them back to a place that is triangulated would be stronger than up to the rear main hoop.  I also added a piece of half inch the front and rear to make handy tie down points in the case that the car actually ever makes it out of the shop some day.  (Usually we are at Glamis right now.)

looks good! looks like your rods will clear the tube too but I am sure you tried that already to be sure. I always welded them on the way I  do just so there wasn't only 2 but welds holding the cradle on and for side support for the upper radius rod tube. plus it looks good lol

now get it done and get some video lol

Well this is actually a good sign.  We had a disaster with Bondo it is so cold the stuff wouldn't dry for three days.  Had to take it all off the start over with way more hardener then it is supposed to have.  We should be able to take it to the paint booth tomorrow.

unless you want to powder coat someday then you'll play hell getting it all out even with sand blasting it.  I have seen this first hand, not on one of my rails but a close friend. and what's wrong with knocking the edge off a weld and/or laying a small pass back over it?
