actually IMO .125 should be standard. Any less is dangerous.

hi

i thought .125" would be good
it seems that 3mm and more has a certain strength about it
were under that size seems flimsy

only problem is the club doesn't want any turbo buggies

I thought we fixed that Tone?  I'm sure we all agreed to have a max limit of 1800cc with a 50% capacity penalty for forced induction engines.

Didn't help me with my twin engined supercharged two-seater Cuda though......

hi

i don't know what rules we are going with
how could there be a problem with a 45hp motor adding a turbo
all of the buggies at the moment in the club put out 100hp +++

cheers

No Camel you are writing what you want to see happen.

It was agreed that can run a turbo but maximum output has to be less than 1500cc
So the equation that was used ended up being you can turbo a 1000cc which will get it up to 1500
But you cannot Turbo any thing over 1000cc as output will go over the 1500cc cap

Tone you have no problem with the motor you have used

You're agreeing with what I'm saying!

Except for the 1500cc bit.  I recall it being 1800cc.

Remember?  1340cc * 1.5 = 2010cc

Therefore Busas couldn't be turboed.  If we limited it to 1500cc then strictly speaking the 1000cc buggies couldn't turbo either as some are 1050cc from the factory.  So we put a margin in there for those guys.  Also as we agreed at the time the turbos weren't necessarily going to be any faster around the track.

Geez you're grumpy today!  What happened?  Baz flog you yesterday?

It's all academic anyway..... ???

You will find out when you hit the track that it's not power you need it's traction.

You would be better off spending you money on adding a cvt to the Busa, just ask Baz  ;D

WOW!  Super nice workmanship Tone.  I can't wait to see it finished.

Are you concerned about connecting the rear A-arm to the subrame or to the main frame hoop?

Very nice. All ready to polish?
