so i've bought my shocks, the racerunners i was looking at ended up being out of my price range, after hours of hunting over the last couple months, they all just showed up, a pilot guy from MBN sold me a pair of 8.5" travel lightly used FOX 2.0 airs for the front and on ebay lastnight i scored a pair of 12" travel never used FOX 2.0 airs for the rear.

thats right... fox airs on all 4 corners... for just over half the retail... i'm stoked... just have to wait... i hate the waiting for parts game... the list keeps getting longer:

-rack and pinion
-5/8" master cylinder (clutch)
-3/4" master cylinder (brakes)
-older wilwood dynalites (front brakes)
-slave cylinder (clutch)
-shocks

once all this stuff gets here i'm gonna have a lot of work to do, i'm gonna have to take some time off work... lol

had the day off today, got the front lower a-arms reinforced, he upper shock mounts tacked in and the rack mounted. there was lots of material on the bottom of the rack so i scrapped the adapter plate and drilled new mounting holes. my new 2-axis drill press vise makes things a lot easier to line up. i mocked up the front suspension and made sure there was no binding. at full bump there's 3.5" of ground clearance and at full droop there's a  17.5" of clearance, for a full 14" of travel. just waiting on my rear shocks to show up, then i can call this thing a roller.

Cool to see it coming together for ya!
"There can be no divided allegiance here.  Any man who says he is an American,
but something else also, isn't an American at all.  We have room for but one
flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is
the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a
loyalty to the American people."
