Title: new toy/trailer
Post by: Carlriddle on June 04, 2012, 03:59:55 PM
Well i broke down today and stepped up!!.  Made deposit on new trailer.   drowning  22' plus the V nose, 5200lb axles, 3 roof vent, 1 braced for the a/c, 7' ceiling cause I'm a tall fooker, and of course r/v style door.  Should be ready in a week-10 days.  Got a smoking deal, I think.  Going to convert front into a bath/kitchen area and have room for the 3 new toys.  Hope to have enough time and money before fall trip.  Pics when I pickup. bb: jj: dd:

Pssst - The trailer is the new dog house if you did not get her what she wanted most for the anniversary.

My guess is she is a good woman and only wants a few more years.

Congrats on both.

While the peeps are great to work with and the $$$$ is hard to touch, they work some serious bankers hours.  But we finally made it down to S Ga to pickup the wheels.   jj: jj:  Got some work to do, mainly insulating trailer(didn't want to pay them), instal roof a/c, and elec conv box and some wiring.  Going to put bath up front and a small kitchen, but it may have to wait.  I got a crap load of other stuff to spend time and $$$$ on first.

How do you like the v nose compared to the flat front?

I believe it pulls a little easier, but I bought it for the extra floor space.  I plan to put the bath in the V.  Overall very pleased, will have room for 2 quads, drive buggy straight in, sleep area, kitchen, and bath.  Just need time and money.

Completely forgot about this thread.

Will update with some new pics of pieces I've put in, but heres some pics of new floor.

Metallic epoxy.  Very durable, gas chemical resistant and looks pretty cool.  Gotta finish the base trim after trip, need to put cabinets back in and a little new electrical.
