Reagan was not the "save us all saint" he's made out to be. There was a lot wrong with the shit he did just as much as any other politician we have/had.

Yes but MOST of the bad stuff credited to Reagan had to do with the congress he was sattled with.  Just like there will be a serious crimp in Obummers plans with the R's owning one house of Congress.  Also at that time the bad press for Reagan was nonstop as the liberals owned virtually the whole media.

All politics aside at least he wanted America to succeed and he believed that it was a good country.

I agree with Carl, I don't see anyone standing out yet.

Reagan put a strangle hold on money . Yes, what he did was necessary to rein in inflation but too drastic,too sudden.His shit just about bankrupted our business. We went from booming sales to almost nothing overnight.  On the other hand ,firing those spoiled rotten air traffic controllers was one very bright spot.

Back to My assertion that passing the bar exam should automatically preclude you from ever holding public office.
 
What we need is people with common sense in office, not carrier ass kissers. Unfortunately the people most qualified for the job are the ones that want it least.....
