haven't seen there's and it looks like the transworks but by advertisement sounds like it's built like yours....how much?

can't tell if it's a remanned version of a t1 or late model vw with side covers on both sides which is how i would assume it can be flipped?

I sent them an email.  May be interesting to learn more about the transaxle.  Asked them to sign up and discuss.  Hopefully they respond.

Mite be the 350 FP of toque could be a problem.  Sounds kind of low for a boosted Busa, no?

About $3k with flanges and current money swapping rate.

I've read all the discusstion on torque being multiplied thru m/c gearbox and not really sure where I stand.

Let's put it this way. I'm going on 4+ years of use on the 091 that is about the same capacity/tq rating with no issue with a boosted busa and 1800+ pounds car. This thing has my attention and interest in finding out more.

My thoughts exactly.  091 was designed for what 100'lbs torque?  I know yours is built but I'd say a box rated for 350lbs torque should hold just fine.

need proof it will handle what they say. the 091 built right has been proven for decades to handle 300 ft lbs input. with fabr adaptor and rubber coupler to take and severe shock load he is set.  transworks was a whole diff animal and when they thought they could get away with keyways in a gear or two they messed up the design horrbly. don't know if they ever even tried to fix those issues but it was a nice idea. i know from transman who asked weddle himself..... a fully built t1 using weddles r&p and gears is only AT BEST good for 200 ft lbs tq which is what they based that trans on if i remember right.

Carl,DS,I agree with your thoughts. Hopefully yummis request for info might produce something. I can't find any info on the web. You'd think there would be something to be found about it other than a brief mention here and there.  I just accidentally found it on the site with the sequential shifting do's and don'ts  info.

I think it's like no other I've seen. Cost ,one place I saw ,was around $4K I think. Pretty reasonable if it is truly suitable for our use? I can't find any current pricing though as their new site says to call. I'm way too busy right now daytime to do it. Made by Elite trans in England hence the cost. Built from scratch, no VW parts involved. They look to be nice units. This is a newer version than the ones that I had seen previously.
