Hayabusa. Car is similar to mine, so I guess around 650 -700kg. Races it offroad over in the West, so it gets as hard of a life as possible.

I'd have a blast racing that. Looks like the country roads I terrorize occasionally in my area.

Yes, it looks like fun - they seen to have wide tracks over west. The races in QLD seem to have more trees.

This is my old car. Drive shits itself towards the end of the video.

Another track that would be fun!!!!   You guys ever see a hill in Oz? Is the whole country flat as a pancake? Tracks here like to see some elevation changes.

There are plenty of hills around the country mate, just none near where I live!

The drive failure was in my old car which is just a standard Edge products drive.

That chaincase has been working fine. Pulled it apart once to check everything, and it is all good. I have three races on it now and the only issue I had is where I hit a tree. I got a bit excited reversing off it and one of the reverse gears that was press fitted onto the shaft slipped sideways and I lost reverse. Pressed it back on again and welded it.

Don't think you need silent chain. After one initial retension, I haven't touched the 530's save for some lube.

If I was going to make another one, I would put a tiny bit more wrap on the revers sprocket. I got it to jump a tooth once when reversing before I retensioned the chains.

I believe you are right ,at least on a N/A busa but don't know if needed or not on a turbo'd big bike engine behind a heavy car. I have 4 years on mine with zero issues,no adjustments and a boat load of hours on it.  I THINK it would be fine with 530 chain but I KNOW it is with the silent. The advantage with the silent chain is the lack of needing a method of adjusting the chain -ever.
