And plenty of these things running 300hp, and pig heavy.
what would be nice is if on could mate the planetary rev set up out of the jeffco into the nose of that mustang diff. this would mean a new case or removable nose section. now if one made that it would be spot on. the mustang diff has a lot of support on stronger parts for forced induction v8 builds. they sell 930 flanges conversions for this diff too.
Personally,I'd shy away from using the yxz diffs. Plenty of history of failures like pushing the pinion out of the case. Yes,that would be a good choice for a road/rally type application but if I were to build a sand/desert/trails car I'd prefer to build something a lot more robust. Same goes for the axles. I believe the trannys are well up to the task though.
