The real future of internal combustion engines is here. In production and guess who is getting to actually manufacturing the damn thing. China.

well it was bound to happen! costs went down so prices will go up so the public can test the new design  rofl the improvements will be nice and the lack of pre cats will be a big help in flow!  i was particularly interested in the higher comp on stock turbo engines. wonder if there adding higher boost pressures along with the higher comp? the ability to command any timing or cam profile ( so to speak ) is very impressive!

China gets it because our pols are to stupid to see electric is not currently viable.  Zero tail pipe does not mean zero emissions.  They force bad technology on consumer to feed their green goals?

Regardless, and I do agree with you but, it is because China is capable of producing any level of quality desired at much lower costs than USA or just about any other country in the world. Remember,we were able to do the same a century +/- ago.Won't happen now unless we somehow figure out how to outproduce the others at lower per unit costs like we did then. All there is to it. I think.

I would agree.  There is a race to the bottom.  Why do you think wages have been stagnant for 20 years? Everyday we inch closer to third world.

How do we bring the rest of the world up to our standard of living to make the rest of the world as prosperous as we used to be? We don't ,we systematically bring our standard down. Much easier that way to bring about one world governance. I've felt that was the plan all along that the truly deep, deep state which is much deeper than is now being exposed has been engineering for decades.
