flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is
the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a
loyalty to the American people."

Good read BUT.  The oil company's will not let it in.  They will do there best to block any and all new battery development.

If I believe I cannot do something it makes me incapable of doing it. But when I believe that I can, then I acquire the ability to do it , even if I didn't have it at the beginning.

So? Who cares? This oil company conspiracy is BS IMO. BTW,the technology is already here and will be used, maybe not in cars . I don't think it's likely there will ever be a viable electric vehicle to be used by the millions.

Poppy cock.  Check your utility bill.  If they can charge for a product they can collect taxes for it.  Simple math.

They give credits for electric vehicles now. Cutting the subsidy is the first step. Not mentioned in that article is the use of ultracapacitors to allow fuel station like charging of cars. Right now, you can't take a trip with an electric car. Not only the range, but it takes too long to charge. They want the ability to do say a 5 minute charge similar to a fuel stop. They will just charge the tax there. Detroit Edison in Michigan will put in a separate meter for an electric car and charge a lower rate. There is another opportunity to charge a tax specific to vehicles. The tax would need to be less than the savings from the lower rate or there would be no point.

I assumed the article was going to be about eestor which if their product claims are true, would revolutionize all portable electric devices. It never came to be though with delay after delay of the promise for a public demonstration.
