fabr baja
-
it would be the best looking one
-
Ya gotta admit those old baja beam cars are some tough mofo's!!!
-
slow but yes those things do take a beating.
-
they will take a lot. my old green one ran a 2332 with the old geared hub setup. the thing was like a Billy goat. if you had traction it would go up it. back when Dan lived in garden city we all had one I thank at one time we had 10 of them running the river. it was a cool sight to see.
-
That's dan's I'm sitting in in the pic above.

Oh Ya back in the day we rode together. mostly at little sierra sand dunes. it is starting to show its age . but still one of the best looking Baja's I've seen.
-
we could not get Dan to take it to the river much back then. it was just to pretty for it. I could not blame him.
-
Thing runs quite well for not being turbo'd,drives very well also! I really, really appreciated him loaning it to me @ St.A. last year. The headlights left a lot to be desired though. I think the candle burned out. ;D ;D

When I was in California. I completely rebuilt the front beam and put a bus tranny in it with a super diff. Put the rear shocks up through the car to the roll cage. Disc brakes. 20 years of running sand and desert the front end was shot.

I'm sure it has a lot of hard miles on it. I had forgot that it had geared hubs under it back then Sandvw. have to say it one more time. Dam good looking Baja.

I would like to have one of those. But it would get 3800 powered.
