Hell yeah!  Thats the idea.  I hope to keep the weight close to 2200 if at all possible and with 400 HP it should be pretty fun.  Thats 5.5 pound per HP and 4:11 gears with 17 in wheels and 33 in tires.

Had to edit the weight to HP. Thx Carl

WOW, that will Rip with that power to weight ratio!!!!!

I had a "go-cart" when I was younger that had 5hp, and it would go ~30mph....That was a 120lb cart with my 150lb arse......54lb/hp.

Considering you're aiming for a better power-weight ratio than a Ferarri 599 GTB Fiorano, if you can keep those tyres gripping instead of slipping, you'd be capable of 0-60 mph in under 3.6...

Testing in May, COOL! ;D ;D ;D

Come up to LS from May 17-23 for some of your testing during the DTS spring trip. You will have a damn good time and the DTS members will get to meet you in person. 8) 8) 8)

Made some good progress.  hope to make some more this weekend.  I am at work right now doing some testing to prepare for a planned power outage and it has been cutting into my build time.  I will take some pics Sunday night to let you guys see some progress.

Looking great!

Lots of plumbing.  Do you plan to paint it before getting it running?

Is that a brake light switch on both sides of the turning brake?

ditto!
"There can be no divided allegiance here.  Any man who says he is an American,
but something else also, isn't an American at all.  We have room for but one
flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is
the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a
loyalty to the American people."

Planning on testing with it raw.  Trying to have ready by May, but just found out I have 2 conferences one in April and May so that may slow that down a bit.
I put in 2 brake light switches so when I pull a turning brake that side will light.
