Did not know any of that ! Great info.

I am not sure on glue or gasket. I know both well but ease of replacement is a factor and we both know which one is easier.

rained all day and have a guy interested in the pbs mid engine shifter housing on the megasand. decided to pull it apart to see what gave up and well , all of it did  :m

It's raining under our house at Waynoka. Broken water line. Apparently some of the towns cats fought to get under the house this winter and failed to close the crawl space door when they left. Gonna be stuck around the house till the plumber gets here-hopefully.

No damage. I turn the water off when we leave. Got lucky and the guy that did some work for me 5 years ago came right over this morning and had us back in business before noon. 2 guys @ $135 an hour combined. Pretty reasonable for unscheduled repair at short notice. I was quite pleased I did not have to fix the shit myself. Plumbers are in short supply down here.

Glad they got it fixed and a good thing you shut the water off! I have no doubt plumbers are in short supply which makes that price amazing.

Have had my grandsons the past 4 days. Got a little time to work on the rail. Its read to tear apart , finish welding , paint , weld in more tabs for the skid plateand then final assembly. The one poc of a flat pieces with 4 tubes on edge is the coil mount. Soooo many changes i couldn't re use the old coil mount. 1 pic is of the external trans filter. Also added an expansion tank for the radiator.

We are currently in uncharted waters in regard to my rt eye. Not a bad thing on anyway, just requires closer monitoring. So not only is that always a concern, so much so we have the name of my surgeons college in ft worth Texas. In case there is an issue while visiting the children.

Also have some family ranch complications. As some know my mother and younger brother passed away a few years ago.  My mothers family ranch shares passed down to myself as well as my 2 nephews ( younger brothers sons).  My mother was one of 9, so 9 share holders plus grandma. Grandma (95) passed recently. The family ranch is supposed to remain i. The blood line for generations. My great great grand fathers family home steaded the original parcel.  Now that grandma passed, I have some family that want the out and paid.  Very very disappointed in a few. Hopefully in 2 weeks or so we can meet in order to sign the papers, pay them and officially cut them out. Was hoping last week and last month. All of that is an even longer story and a boring one. Those two reasons, plus all the added responsibilities and 9 hr round trip drive to the ranch and we have our 5 year grandson for the month. No proven rail either. Dont think I will make the trip this year.

Had a few hours while my grandson took a nap. I decided to re locate the air box so I could re install the storage box I had when the rail was a turbo busa.  Turned into a bit more indepth relocation then anticipated but I believe it will work well.  Had some clearence issues with the battery and turbo exh housing. Had to split the difference so I am able to service the filter with out having to un bolt the whole system.
