Title: Chips ????????
Post by: SPEC on July 14, 2010, 04:52:58 AM
A buddy of mine has a late 90's Mustang
The last year of the 302 powered one, he needs to re chip it to get around some issues...IE the speed governor,
It's lowered/caged/panhard barred bla bla blah
I just figured you guys could help him out with the best chips for the buck
Any ideas?

Wow if he has done all that it would seem he would be in the know?

BTW: Once he gets a man's toy (i.e.:Dodge 3500) he can then come to men for an answer........ just sayin.

THE WAY IT'S SET UP et'S DON'T REALLY COME INTO PLAY
.....
Now do they?....
Mid 12's
Since it;s set up to turn.... why else would it sport the ford so called 5 link?
The cobra mustang IMO is a poorly designed ride IMO...I just wanted to know if somebody had a laptop program to relieve the speed limiter...cuz the fooker will do 135 in 4th gear and only 126 in 5th.....
Ford owner reported :P

For self help guy that wants to do his own tuning, this is a great tool to start with. Excellent forum support as well. Plugs into the J-port of the stock ECU. User switchable tunes on the fly. Many Stangs tuned to the low 10's with them on mass-air and lots of boost. Nice bang for the buck if he's willing to learn the software.
