Gear-One Front Hubs

OK ,I'm on a bash G1 roll so I might as well say something about G1 front hubs. Once again the parts LOOK fine. Looks are deceiving. The wheel bearing seal bores were so large I'll either need to remachine for a larger OD seal or "glue?' the seals in. I could press the seas in place with my fingers. IMO,Gear-One =

Did they have their own special sized seals for their hubs, or did they just fook up that bad?

they just fook up that bad. I did not measure the bore before inserting but if I were to give a guestimate they were approx .002 bigger than should be. I had to push hard but no driving was necessary.Pulled them out and used Loctite pipe thread compound on them. I have gooten away OK that way in the past on damaged bores. I think they will be fine but it's BS nonetheless.
